This senior role is ideal for a technical product leader passionate about data architecture, scalability, AI systems, and building enterprise-level data solutions.

You will own the roadmap that enables Big Data, analytics, business intelligence, and advanced AI workloads — ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and scalable across the entire organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Parfina’s data platform, including ETL/ELT pipelines, warehousing, and analytics infrastructure.

  • Translate business and AI/ML requirements into clear technical user stories for engineering teams.

  • Develop a deep understanding of data ingestion, transformation, storage, scalability, and consumption.

  • Partner closely with the AI Science team to build scalable data solutions for tuning, evaluating, and deploying AI models.

  • Act as the technical partner to data engineers and analysts, using strong SQL skills to validate models and ensure data integrity.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, and AI teams to meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.

  • Define, measure, and monitor KPIs such as data freshness, pipeline uptime, and query performance.

  • Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and partners to optimize the data ecosystem.

  • Work cross-functionally to align the data platform roadmap with company-wide technology initiatives.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment.

  • Stay current on modern data engineering, warehousing, and AI infrastructure trends.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years in technical product management, with 3–5+ years focused specifically on data platforms or data infrastructure.

  • Expert-level SQL proficiency — capable of writing complex queries and performing data validations.

  • Deep knowledge of modern data ecosystems, ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt), and warehousing architecture.

  • Snowflake experience is a major plus (streams, tasks, warehousing features).

  • Strong background in agile product management and backlog planning (Jira required).

  • Experience with GCP data services is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communicator able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.

  • Understanding of Machine Learning concepts is a strong asset.
